Building Up Your Business and Client Book (as a new lash artist)

The best way to get new lash clients when you are a brand new artist is …..

NOT facebook ADS

NOT Instagram followers,

NOT tie tok followers,

NOT Facebook friends!

So what is it?!

It’s through people you already know!

There is a science to growing your business, and it begins within your close circle.

When you are first starting out, you need to focus on these things:

  1. Getting practice hours in to master your skillset

  2. Building up your portfolio

  3. Mastering your customer service

So, how do you get new clients as a brand new artist?  Ask every single person, coworker, friend, family member that you know to work on them.  Do free work at first, take models, and ask for constructive criticism and feedback.

Once you get your hands on enough lash clients as models, it’s time to start charging for your services.   You may not be the best (yet), but at this point, you should be able to efficiently and timely and safely apply lash extensions to paying clients.

Ask your friends, mom, aunt, cousins, coworkers, fellow estheticians, and put it out to the world that you are taking models for lash extensions for a limited time.  Get your hands on people and begin working your magic, learning your craft, and perfecting your skill sets.

It all starts in your small inner circle.
